Espoir Project in Europe

The CCA has announced that the following riders have been selected for a month long project in April after a 10 day development camp in Victoria.

Ian Condron
Ryder Hesjedal
Chris Isaac
Jean-Sebastien Maheu
Ryan Roth

As well, one additional rider will be selected for a 6th position from the following riders who are already residing in Europe.

Cory Lange - currently riding for ACBB
Cory Jay - currently riding for ACBB
Murray Carter - currently riding for Pontivy
François Parisien - currently riding for Pontivy

- April 7th                         Cérésy Belle Étoile        Normandy, France- April 10th                        GP Super U                 Britanny, France- April 17th to the 21st            Tour du Loir et Cher       Loir Valley, France- April 28th                        Paris-Mantes               Ille de France, France- May 3rd to the 5th                Tour de Nord-Isère         Lyonnais, France



Canada Cup Mountain Bike Series Rules

In 2002, Canada Cup events will be hosted at seven (7) venues across the country. The series will consist of six (6) cross-country and five (5) downhill events. Two venues will host single discipline events. A national ranking is maintained for all Canada Cup title categories. The Canada Cup standings are used as one of the selection tools for members of the Canadian National Team.
