Trinidad Update

Hello all,

Joel Regimbald and I went in to see Nick Corcoran this morning here in Trinidad. He is progressing quite well, looking much better after a good night's rest. He is responsive, smiling, and laughing. During our visit he ate his lunch, which was a good sign that Nick is getting back to normal! Chicken and rice (even in the hospital) has probably never tasted so good!

He is still resting quite a bit (sleeping), and still needs to stay in bed for most of the day. His condition has improved quite remarkably over the past couple of days, and he seems to be remembering a lot of the details of our trip, etc.

Nick will stay in Trinidad for a couple more days, ensuring he is stable and ready to fly back to Canada.

Joel Regimbald will be staying with Nick here in Trinidad unti he is discharged from the hospital.

Myself, Steen Madsen, Lars Madsen and Tyler Hansen will transfer to Barbados tomorrow for the weekend. This will be our final weekend of racing in the Carribean, we return to Canada on the 9th of April.

The weather continues to be hot and very humid here in Trinidad. I have heard the total opposite is going on at home! I would honestly say that a couple of days in the snow, riding my snowboard would really be a refreshing change from this heat!!

Take care,

Kurt Innes
