End of Lap 3 (of 5): Two riders have been battling it out since lap 1. Mexican Ivan Ortez (Mexican National) and Frenchman Remy Digregorio have a firm lead on the remainder if the field. Canadian Plaxton, started strong and was siting in 5th for the first 2 laps, but has faded back to 9th.
