Ontario Track League

This Saturday May 25th is the 2nd race of the 2002 Ontario Track League, Bicycle races will be held at the Delhi Velodrome at Windel Park.

Racing begins at 10:30am.

Events include; 1000metre , 3000metre, & 5000metre Mass Start (all riders in each division race at separate times). in addition an Australiana , Win & out races will be run before the ever popular open sprint competition.

Racers from across Ontario will be in attendance competing in 4 divisions:
Senior, Junior, Women, Masters.

The Points Competition continues throughout the summer.

In addition to the regular races a SPECIAL division is being run for riders under 16 years of age, Local Riders need to bring their helmet & bicycle ( any style ) to compete in a fun competition to help them learn the basics of bicycle riding.

Spectators are welcome, Free admission for all spectators

Lake to Lake

Sunday May 26th, the 4th annual Tim Horton's Great Lake to Lake (Lake Erie to Lake Ont) citizens mountain bike race will be held.
A picturesque 50 km route to challenge all who attend. No day-of registration, last chance is Saturday the 25th. Please log onto www.laketolake.ca for more info.

On June 2 2002 there will be a road race in St. Joseph du Lac, 40km. north west of Montreal. All profits will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. It is a tough 20 km. circuit. The race is being sponsored by the Sports Expert/Lifescan/Martin Swiss cycling team. Mr. Henry Levy is the organizer.
