Bright blue skies meet the riders this Morning for the second round of the Ontario Track League Season. The constant wind at 35kph Kept the racing close in all categories, Riders from across Ontario participated in the event Sponsored by North American Bici. The track in the small community of Windham Centre has hosted bicycle races since the Mid 1970's, With many of Canada's elite Olympian's competing on a regular basis, Names like Lovell, Singleton, & Bauer still are remembered for their track racing moments at the Velodrome, Just outside Delhi, Ontario.

Today saw dominating performances by 4 riders who will be competing at the National Track Championships in Bromont Quebec in July. In the Senior Category Haik Beglarov ( Hummingbirds C.C.) & Taras Kleban (Midweek C.C.) showed their fitness and rode away from the field to finish 1-2 in all of the distance races held today. In the woman's category, new comer Amanda showed how to handle her bike for the first time at the tough Delhi track, Ontario Team riders Julia Bradley (Opus Women's Team) & Sprinter Michelle Perrier-Martinen battled it out for the women's honours through-out the day. Julia won the distance events 1000m,3000m&5000m with Michelle winning the Win & Out, and the Australiana races.

Many spectators watched the days events that finished just before the rains came, As an added bonus for the days events saw new riders take their turn to show just how fast each rider is. 5 riders took flying laps at the 250m Velodrome.
