We have received a brief update that Jean-Francois Laroche, riding for Canada on Espoir national team project, managed to move up from 4th to third overall in the final classification for this 4 stage, UCI 2.6 race. Unfortunately, there was also some worrying news that Ryder Hesjedal has crashed and hurt his ribs and wrist. We are waiting for further word on whether this will affect his ability to compete at the worlds.
