There was light drizzle up to 45 minutes prior to the start of the race, but that subsided in favour of being just grey and very humid. Tight, narrow and twisty roads, so bike handlings a a factor.

The men are starting in about 45 minutes (12:15 local time - 7:15EDT). Eric Wohlberg, the defending champion, will be the last rider of 44 to start.
