Women's Sprint final - Heat 1

Lori-Ann Muenzer lost the first heat of the sprint final to Anna Meares, but was later awarded the win when Meares was relegated by the officials for interference. Meares pushed Lori-Ann up high on the track in the first corner (an action she has used before and been previously been warned about).

If Lori-Ann can win the next heat she will take the gold.
