3rd Annual Cycling Celebration

The Ontario Cycling Association is proud to announce that the 3rd Annual Cycling Celebration will be held November 16th, 2002, at the Steam Whistle Brewery in Toronto.
This year's Celebration will recognize and honour the Ontario athletes involved in the 2002 Commonwealth Games, as well as the 2002 Ontario Summer Games athletes.
Top Ontario cyclists and Commonwealth Games medallists Chrissy Redden and Susan Palmer-Komar have already confirmed their attendance. Mark Walters, Gordon Fraser, and Michael Barry, and Seamus McGrath, members of the Men's Team have also been invited. We invite you to come and meet the Ontario cyclists who are among the leading contenders for the Canadian spots at the Road World Championships to be held in October 2003 in Hamilton.
The participants of this year's Ontario Summer Games will also be recognized. These young cyclists represent some of the up and coming athletes who are working toward representing Ontario and Canada at future competitions.
The Cycling Celebration begins at 8pm, with recognition and awards beginning at 9pm.
