Ullrich Signs

Jan Ullrich has officially signed with Team Coast. The German rider today inked a three year contract with Division I team Coast for a reported 2 million Euros per year. Ullrich has been on a rollercoaster ride for the past year, and has not raced since last January, when a chronic knee injury forced him to undergo surgery (his knee problems have recently flared up again). While off the bike, he got into trouble for drinking and driving, and tested positive for the non-performance enhancing drug Ecstacy (receiving a suspension). He is considered to be the most credible threat to Lance Armstrong in the Tour, if he can get healthy and back in form.
