Momentum Sports Group, LLC, an Oakland, CA based company dedicated to the growth and management of sports and entertainment assets worldwide, is pleased to announce the formation of the 2003 Health Net Pro Cycling Team, a new professional Division III Trade Team. The title sponsor of the new Team is Health Net of California, one of the state's largest health plans.

"Given the resurgence of interest in the sport of Professional Cycling in the United States today, we decided to form a world class cycling organization that was completely focused on healthy competition as well as the safety of our team riders," said Gregory R. Raifman, who along with Thierry Attias created Momentum Sports Group, LLC. "Management of the team is committed to providing this new Division III trade team with a healthy foundation for a successful program for 2003, and to building the Team's reputation at key one-day events and many National Racing Calendar (NRC) races. "Health Net is committed to providing affordable access to quality health care for our members. We saw the immediate value of leading a team of 18 accomplished and healthy riders throughout the 2003 NRC race season. Å’Health and wellness' is the message that these riders will convey as they embark on their campaign. We are delighted to be the title sponsor for Momentum Sports Group's 2003 Pro Cycling Division III Team."
