Women's Cycling Training Camp

On the weekend of April 11 to 13, International Cycling Coaches (ICC) will be offering the first annual Women's Cycling Training Camp in Victoria, BC. To help prepare female athletes for the upcoming mountain bike race season, this camp includes three full days of valuable training information, nutritional guidance, racing tips and basic bike repair instruction. Kappa Cycling Team Pro/Elite level racers will share their experiences, and experts in nutrition, training, recovery and bicycle mechanics will lead workshops.

Through the annual Women's Cycling Training Camp, ICC hopes to promote the participation of women in cycling with a weekend of practical knowledge in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The camp is geared towards women of all cycling abilities. Rides will take place throughout the Victoria region, with great trails, unbelievable scenery and warm temperatures, Victoria is the perfect training camp destination. This weekend will be a welcome getaway and a great start to the cycling season for athletes who have been training in other parts of Canada.

There is a maximum of 16 participants. Cost is $395 including transportation to and from Victoria International Airport or Swartz Bay Ferries and accommodations near the primary camp venue, the Hartland Mountain Bike Park.

ICC is a renowned organization providing coaching services to top athletes in Canada and around the world. It is owned and operated by former Canadian Cycling National Team Coach, Steve Lund.

Birth Announcement

Sean Carter (OGC Alberta) and Anne-Brit Ericksen are the proud parents of a new son, born on March 5. Andreas Blaise is at home with mum,happy and healthy, already in training for the 2020 Tour de France.
