Green And Sydor to Lead Canadian Team at Redlands

Two-time defending MTB World Champion and the Commonwealth Games Champion, Roland Green, will lead an 8-man team to the Redlands Bicycle Classic in California, April 1-6, 2003. Green is coming off a strong performance at Tour de Langkawi in February, where he won the Mountains jersey and finished 4th overall. Also riding for men's team is Seamus McGrath, Andreas Hestler, Chris Sheppard, Ricky Federau, Mathieu Toulouse, Julian Hine and Roddi Lega.

Sydor, a three time MTB World Champions and nine-time medallist at Worlds will lead the women through Redlands. She will be joined by Commonwealth Games Champion, Chrissy Redden. Joining these two will be Kiara Bisaro, Trish Sinclair, Erin Carter and 2002 National Road Champion Katy St. Laurent.

Yury Kashirin will lead the team at Redlands, with assistance from Svetlana Mintianskaia and Michel Leblanc. A strong cast of support personnel with also be present.
