West Indies vs. the World Cycling Series

Glen Rendall has sent us a summary of the races and some photos of this race series that took place in Trinidad, Tobago and Barbados from April 12 through 27

Final summary of the Canadian podium apearances at the Beacon Insurance West Indies vs. the World Cycling Series that took part over the last month at various velodromes and venues across Trinidad, Tobago and Barbados. The Canadian team was comprised of sprinters Keith Bruneau (Victoria, BC), Alex Maurais(Bromont, Qc) and endurance rider Glen Rendall (Ottawa, On). Although the team experienced a set back when Keith Bruneau crashed heavily early in the series and broke his elbow, the team performed well having a multitude of top 5 placings in addition to 7 podium appearances.
