Canadian Cyclist Fantasy Tour Online

The 2003 Fantasy Tour is online (5 people signed up in the first minute it went live...). To sign up click on the button at the top of your browser window. The Fantasy Tour contains the most up-to-date list of riders available, however, it is subject to change until the final 24 hours. Therefore, you will be able to revise your selections until 10:00 pm EDT on July 6th (ie, after stage 1). After that, your selections are locked in until the end of the Tour. Weekly prizes and final grand prizes will be awarded for the leaders. (Attention: if your company is interested in supplying additional prizes, please contact us at Here. Enjoy.

Italian Six Day

Canadians 21 Alexandre Cloutier and Martin Gilbert, riding for Piacenza 74, will participate in the Sei Giorni delle Rose track race July 3rd to 8th. Gilbert won the National Espoir road title last Monday.


Festival de Velo - Waterloo, Ontario

The Waterloo Cycling Club has been hard at work bringing the cycling community together for our big event in 2003 Final preparations are under way for Festival de Velo in Waterloo, Ontario on Sunday, July 20th at RIM park.

Sponsors are coming in from around the Province to make this one of the best races in Ontario in 2003. Every category with 20 plus entries will have a prize list to 10th finishing positions. Primes through out the day during each Start time. Grand prize draw for 2 tickets to the Hamilton Worlds in October. (registered riders only) Goody Bags will be available to the first 200 riders who Register.  We are anticipating a huge turn out of riders from Ontario, Michigan, & New York. One day licenses are available.  All categories will be represented in the 4 start times ( see Riders Guide). An Antique Bicycle Display & demonstration is planned during the day. Live music will be played by some gifted teens from around the region. Get involved with the 50/50 draw anticipated to top $200.00 to the winner. Plan to arrive early to watch North America's top Cyclists compete on a 4 km. circuit.
