Calling all athletes…showcase your SKILLS and SPONSORS on TELEVISION! Whether you are an athlete or a spectator, we want you to come out and make this exciting opportunity a great success!

At Dagmar Resort this year, the OCA’s Television Production Company, Network Productions, will produce for television, 2 intense half hour shows highlighting all of the Short Track race action for each of the Men’s and Women’s races. Production of the event will be in High Definition TV Format allowing us to secure a higher profile with broadcasters as well as participate with the traditional broadcast avenues otherwise available for premiere airing in early/mid Fall 2003, with repeats continuing on throughout a 12 month period.

Broadcast Partners are as follows:
ExpressVu – High Definition Channel – National September 1st, 2003
SportsNet – National September 21st, 2003
3 plays / 1 in prime time – audience projection 75,000

We are also looking for sponsors for this pilot production. This is the beginning of a three-year TV commitment therefore sponsors getting involved in the Premiere will have a great opportunity to create a long lasting media asset.

Media assets available for participating Sponsors are as follows:

1. TV Show titling, for each of the Men’s and Women’s Races.
2. Opening and Closing Billboards, Sponsored Features and Commercial Inventory.
3. On-site Event and Track Signage - to be prominently displayed in good camera position around the 1 km course, at the start/finish line and podium.
4. Onsite Brand / Product presence for both days of the event. The event is strong for family, natural and wholesome product positioning with existing category sponsors including; PowerBar (energy bars), Parmalat (dairy) and Bonham & Co (financial).
