It is about 30 minutes to the start of the Downhill Qualifying for the World Cup Final in Kaprun. So far, everyone is cautiously optimistic - it is still very wet, but at least it isn't raining! The forecast calls for intermittent showers until this afternoon, then clearing up gradually.

The 4-Cross is now scheduled for this evening, with the Finals taking place between 5:30 and 6:30 pm local time (11:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT).

Canada has 4 men and 4 women in the Downhill:

Women (37 starters)
Michelle Dumaresq
Claire Buchar
Danika Schroeter
Debra MacKillop

Men (192 starters)
Jordie Lunn
Mathieu Laurin
Mike Jones
Hugo Donais

In the 4-Cross, Canada has Buchar and Dumaresq among the 20 starters, and no men in the field of 70.
