Cyclo-Cross Cash

Crank Brothers, an American manufacturer of pedals and other cycling products, has announced a program that pays riders who do well while racing on their pedals. Elite riders who finish on the podium (top three) at UCI sanctioned 'cross races in the U.S. while using Crank Brothers Egg Beater pedals will share a $10,000 (U.S.) purse at the end of the season. We confirmed with Kevin Westcott at Crank Brothers that the program is open to Canadian riders:

"The program is open to any elite rider, men and women competing in all of the 25 UCI races here in the states. For riders getting in the top ten of these events, Crank Brothers will sponsor them with pedals."

Riders can enroll in the program by contacting Kevin Westcott, Crank Brothers' athlete liaison, at (949) 464-9916 or Kevin@CrankBrothers.com.
