Colin Ward, father of former National Team Cyclist Tony Ward, former Manitoba Track Coach, and an outstanding member of the Canadian Cycling Community, passed away very suddenly on Thursday May 27th 2004 at 2:00. Colin was enjoying a cycling ride with a friend. He complained of not feeling well. Once he stopped riding, almost immediately he died of a heart attack.

Colin is survived by his wife Ann, son Tony and two daughters Kim and Holly.
