7th Annual Sporting Life 24 Hours of Summer Solstice Energized by Mars June 19-20, 2004 at Albion Hills Conservation Area

Chico Racing is proud to be presenting Ontario's first 24-Hour event of the 2004 season this weekend, the 7th Annual Sporting Life 24 Hours of Summer Solstice Energized by Mars June 19-20, 2004 at Albion Hills Conservation Area in Bolton, Ontario.

Mountain bike enthusiasts from all over Canada and parts of the USA will be congregating this Saturday for the ultimate kick-off to summer. Soloists and teams of 2-10 people will be completing as many laps as they can, on the 18km course, in a 24-hour time period. Nutrition, strategy and pacing will play a large part for those soloists and teams wanting to podium. While most teams are joining us this weekend for their summer vacations with families and a great weekend of mountain biking.

24-Hour mountain bike team relay events have been exploding in popularity over the past 10 years. Our participant's ages, abilities and goals are so broad that completion of this type of event is not out of reach for anyone. We even see grandparents and grandchildren on the same teams!

The fun starts on Saturday at noon and concludes Sunday at noon so be sure to drop by Albion Hills Conservation Area for a peak at the action. A map can be found on Chico Racing's website at the following link: www.chicoracing.com.
