Sporting Life 24 Hours at Albion

Hot August Nights August 21-22, 2004 at Albion Hills Conservation Area

Chico Racing is proud to be presenting our second 24 Hour race for the 2004 season, the Sporting Life 24 Hours at Albion, Hot August Nights, August 21-22, at Albion Hills Conservation Area in Bolton, Ontario.

Almost 1,400 mountain bike enthusiasts from all over Canada and parts of the USA will be congregating this Saturday for one of Canada‚s largest 24 hour mountain bike events. Saturday at noon will bring the start of the 24 Hour race with over 220 teams and 30 soloists vying for first position out onto the single-track of the 17km long course.

The Albion Hills course has been re-designed since the 24 Hours of Summer Solstice in June and all reviews have been thumbs up! Fast, flowing single-track with not too much climbing will make this shorter course a lap fest. Riders that have pre-rode the course will benefit from knowing the key spots to make up time. 24 Hour race wins are not by huge margins anymore, so knowing the course will be crucial.

Team and solo registrations are still available for this weekend, so if you are in the GTA area this weekend and want to have a great weekend away with friends riding, registration opens Friday at 5pm at Albion Hills! Check out www.chicoracing.com for more details.
