OCA High Performance Committee Elections

Please note that the following High Performance Committee positions will be voted for at this weekend's Provincial Road Championships.

Road /Track /Cyclo-Cross Coach Representative R/T/C Athlete Representative.

We will be accepting nominations until Friday August 27, 2004 at 12:00 pm.

Licensed members will be able to vote via ballots that will be available this Sunday at the Provincial Road Championships (August 29, 2004). The High Performance Committee meets a minimum of twice a year to discuss the overall direction of the High Performance program within Ontario.

Committee members are expected to meet at least once a year in a central location and secondary meetings are through email or conference calls. Some of the responsibilities of the High Performance Committee include: deciding which athletes get carding using the carding criteria model; coaching decisions for projects; project selection for the upcoming season and other high performance issues that arise during the racing season.
