London Velodrome Announces New Sponsors
Chris Hauk owner of Colony Cabinets is pleased to be added to the growing list of Corporate Partners at the Forest City Velodrome in London Ontario.
Colony Cabinets is located in Strathroy Ontario 30 minutes from the proposed Velodrome. Mr & Mrs. Hauk, are avid cyclists who started riding on the track last summer in Detroit, they got hooked and by the end of the season in 2004 they were very competitive racers. Chris indicated "this is a marvelous opportunity to give back to the community, Help the Kids Programs & see a local Ontario Athlete's go to the Olympics".
"Christine & I are looking forward to riding, racing & volunteering when the new Velodrome gets constructed in the near future" said Mr. Hauk.
The news just continues at the new Forest City Velodrome. Delta Faucet Canada with 250 employees has committed to become a Corporate Partner with the Velodrome project in London, Ontario.
Marking the company's 100th anniversary this year in the City of London, Company President Mr. Vasken Altounian, is 100% behind the project. "We were contacted by our Indianapolis plant to investigate the Velodrome in London, as our company has many competitive & recreational cyclists in both cities, we thought that it would be a great way to support the community & celebrate our 100th Anniversary", said Altounian. "Delta Faucets use to make wood wheels back at the turn of the century while Faucets were Brass already. We are an active recruiter from Fanshaw College and a contributor to Various City causes such as Thames Valley Children's Centre, so the Youth Programs proposed for the Velodrome are of particular interest".
On behalf of the Forest City Velodrome we are excited to bring Delta Faucet Canada on to the growing Corporate Partner list. It will be exciting in the Fall to have all the Employees & Families of Delta at the track cheering the racers on. Good thing we have seating for 3,000 spectators.
