NBC will be broadcasting 2 hours of coverage of the 2004 RAAM on Saturday January 22nd, starting at 2:30pm EDT.
The 2004 edition had lots of Canadian content: Team Coast To Coast, Kevin Wallace and Jeff Rushton won their category, and set a record for 2 person Men's division.
The first team across the line was the Human Powered Vehicle team of ALS Lightning featuring Guinness Book of Records holder/ frame builder Sam Whittingham.
Team Action Sports (Nat Faulkner, Billy Innes, Sean Nealy and Kerry Ryan, with 5 of their 18 person support crew also being Canadians) won the 4 person men's division, broke a record from 1996, and Nat got his photo taken with Ms. America.
My local TV guide (with my local paper) did not list the RAAM, but when I checked Canada.com's online TV Guide it was listed there. Check for your local time slot.
