Congratulations to Dede and Michael Barry. Dede is expecting their first child with the date of arrival to be sometime in early August.

Also, Michael's book, Inside the Postal Bus, is now complete and is available for pre-order at both amazon.com and chapters.com. The book will ship in April.


Canadian Industry Pioneer Retires

As of January 1st, legendary Norco Performance Bikes rep Bill McKenzie decided to hang up his driving gloves in favor of a renewed hockey career in his hometown of London Ontario.

Bill has been an important member of the bike industry since 1978 when he was hired on at Norco. Bill has survived several company vehicles and burned out hundreds of tires from his 27 years of relentless travel through southwestern Ontario. His dedication, loyalty and hard work will be missed by everyone from Norco.

Good luck Bill! We're sure he‚ll be as great an example in retirement as he was on the job.

Note: Over the many years I worked in bike retail, Bill was one of my favourite sales reps. We still kept in touch (at trade and consumer shows) in the many years since. Congratulations on a well deserved retirement Bill!! - editoress
