Another night of fast paced action with a large B/C group. First to the rail last night were the B/C's for a quick 40 lap scratch race. 17 riders took to the boards including Gina Grain who managed to sneak under the radar of the race directors and race with the B's. Using the evening as a last minute tune up for her trip to Manchester, Gina put in a strong performance to take top spot followed by Paul Craig and Claire Cameron.

Next up was the A group. This group was missing some of the regulars but had a couple of additions who used this as part of the tune up for the upcoming 6 day. A nice orderly Keirin race was won by Anselmo Rosiello followed by March Cooper and Murray Solem. Anselmo was heard after the race saying his plan was to try to stay out of trouble and hope for the best. A convincing win by 4 bike lengths made his plan look very effective.

The B/C miss and out was up next. 16 riders made the rail and the action was very busy at the back of the pack. Once again Gina came out on top with Paul and Claire rounding out the top three.

Not satisfied with the miles on the boards Gina decided to stay up and ride with the A group in their 70 lap scratch race. This was a great battle between the two Symmetrics riders Marsh Cooper, Christian Meyer, and John Perkins from Escape Velocity. All the other riders in the group finished at least one lap down as the top three set a very fast pace. At the finish it was Marsh, Christian and John. All three finished within a couple of bike lengths of each other.

More racing next Wednesday. This is the last race night before the BVC 6 day. Make sure you check our website for all the latest updates. The 6 day goes December 12-17 with racing for all categories.
