The opening day of the Christmas Break Track Camp at the Forest City Velodrome is in the books with the first 2 on-track sessions taking place on Monday. The Camp still has a few openings as a few riders can only attend several sessions during the week because of Holiday schedules. The camp is open to all UCI Licensed riders. Cadets, Juniors, Espoirs, Men, Women & Masters.
The skills portion of the camp takes place during the morning sessions with the afternoon devoted to strategies and tactics.
Should you want to take part in the Camp for the rest of the week please arrive at the Velodrome before 9am to register for each day. The afternoon sessions begin at 2pm everyday, except Wednesday, when there will be an evening session.
You can participate in the camp at a cost of $20.00 per day.
The Velo-Kids are having their own sessions each day at Noon - 2pm. Cost of the Velo-Kids program is "FREE".
The entire camp is supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Ontario Cycling Association, & Canadian Cycling Association.
Special Guest on Tuesday is Kris Westwood, Director High Performance Programs at the CCA. Kris will handle questions and answers during the lunch break.
