October 13/17 11:28 am - Theft Alert - Specialized Canada Suffers Break-in

Specialized Canada suffered a break-in and the theft of numerous bicycles and helmets earlier this month at their Montreal warehouse. Two models of the Align helmet and 11 models of 2017 and 2018 bikes were stolen, including Tarmac road bikes, Demo downhill bikes, S-Works Stumpjumpers and two models of ebikes - the Vado and the Levo FSR.

Specialized Canada released a statement through their facebook page and have asked us to spread the word to be on the lookout for anyone attempting to resell these stolen bikes. They are offering a monetary reward of $5000 for any individual with information leading to an arrest. Dear Specialized customers,

There was a recent theft at our Specialized Canada offices in Montreal. Several electric bikes were stolen from our warehouse and we urge you to please keep your eyes peeled for any suspicious activity from third-party sellers (via Kijiji, eBay, etc.). Please stay alert for any untrustworthy ads or social posts that may include photos of these missing E-bikes.

Please validate the bike model & serial number with info.canada@specialized.com before making a purchase via third-party sellers. Contact us at the email provided above or call 1-800-465-8887 should you have any useful information or updates.
