On Sunday, September 12th, join cyclists from across Ontario on the annual Ride for Karen and help raise money to send children with cancer to camp. This year’s ride, sponsored by Scotiabank, features four events to accommodate riders of all ages and fitness levels. Cyclists start in Vaughan, just north of Toronto, and have the option to ride 160 km, 100 km, 25 km or participate in a Kids Fun Ride.
All cyclists are invited to join the post-ride BBQ featuring kids’ games, prizes and more. The annual event began in 2002 as a tribute to Karen Tobias who passed away from breast cancer. To date, Ride for Karen has raised more than $1 million.
