Jared Stafford, U23 MTB national champion and Cyclo-cross national silver medalist, has had to call off his trip to the Cyclo-cross World Championships in Germany due to an injury.
Jared had planned a fundraiser in cooperation with Joyride 150 and Starbucks. Instead of cancelling, Jared wishes to go forward and donate the proceeds to the other Canadian athletes going to the World Championships.
On Sunday, January 16th, please meet at 10:15 am for an optional spin class park led by Jared and hosted by Joyride 150 Bike to show your support. Many riders have confirmed their attendance, including national elite silver medalist and world cup cyclo-cross rider Mike Garrigan of the OCA.
Perks for those who donate include free Starbucks coffee and reduced admission to the Bike Park for the rest of the day.
More information at the Joyride 150 website.
