The details:
Objective: To provide an opportunity for developing athletes that are new to track cycling an opportunity to acquire more experience on the track in a fun and positive environment. The camp will feature both track and road training components.
Camp Size: A maximum of 20 athletes.
Eligibility: Participants from Alberta must show proof of membership with an Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) affiliated club. Participants from outside Alberta must possess a UCI licence. Participants who are not members of an ABA affiliated club or do not possess a UCI licence must purchase a one event permit.

Equipment: Both road and track bikes are required. If you do not own a track bike, please indicate this in your application and rentals will be available.
Accommodations: Accommodations will be provided for the first six athletes on a first come - first serve basis. For the remaining athletes, alternative options (Hotel Alma) will be suggested.
Transportation: Athletes will be riding road bikes to and from the track; transportation to the host house from the airport will be the athlete's responsibility and expense. Cab fare is approximately $40 to NW Calgary.

The estimated cost of this camp per athlete is $200, which includes track time, insurance, accommodation (for athletes staying at the host house) and travel to and from the airport.
