Canada's Rebecca Beaumont will not race at the Mountain Bike World Championships in today's Under 23 Women's cross-country. The Alma, Quebec, resident crashed in training earlier in the week, injuring her shoulder. She was listed as day-to-day in the days leading up to race day, however, the decision was made last night that she would not race.
Mikaela Kofman of Toronto will start, despite having suffered a broken nose and cracked rib in a training crash on Sunday.
