RE:FORM/Cyclepower Women’s Cycling Team, an elite Canadian women's cycling team based in our National Capital Region, dedicated to promoting and providing high level competitive cycling opportunities for women, today announced that it will become Infinit Nutrition/CyclePower Women’s Cycling Team with the addition of Infinit Nutrition Canada as a new co-sponsor of the team.
As the official drink manufacturer of the 2011 Team Garmin-Cervelo Pro Cycling Team, the official recovery drink provider to XTERRA Canada and the nutrition partner of the Canadian Cycling Association, Infinit Nutrition is a Canadian company uniquely committed to offering fully custom sports drinks.
"As the idea behind customized nutrition has become more widely accepted, we've had the opportunity to work with an incredible array of truly amazing athletes, and now this team of dedicated women cyclists," says Darcy Haggith, President, Infinit Nutrition Canada.
Cyclepower Pro Bike Shop, founded by Mr. Ken Power, with a location in each of Ottawa's vibrant communities of Westboro and Old Ottawa South, continues as co-sponsor of the team for the third year. Cyclepower will be supplying the entire team with high-end women-specific Fuji Supreme race bikes.
Former title sponsor, RE:FORM Body Clinic, an expert health care performance clinic in the heart of Ottawa's Byward Market, continues as a major sponsor. Dr. Martin Zollinger's commitment from the team’s inception has been critical, not only in the team’s development, but for each team member whom he has inspired.
“We continue to be a key partner in supporting this exceptional group of women in their elite-level sporting pursuits, and it is a testament to their success that they are attracting new sponsors”, said owner Dr. Martin Zollinger.
Additional new 2012 sponsors include Clinique Podiatrique de l'Outaouais, Ed Brunet & Associates, and Geronimo Coffee. Committed returning sponsors are Logica Sport (distributor of Biemme and Diadora brands), Just B...Photographic and Jessica Spring (Graphic Design). The team expresses genuine gratitude to all of its sponsors, community, and friends who have been so supportive of the mission and vision of the team and of Velo-Femmes Outaouais, the team’s managing non-profit corporation.
