March 18/12 7:46 am - Pietermaritzburg MTB World Cup: Women's DH Final

Results from the women's DH final in Pietermaritzburg South Africa

Floriane Pugin out after crash yesterday and a shoulder injury, Sabrina Jonnier out after crash this morning - hit a tree injured her hip.

The sun is out and the ground is drying, but some sections in the woods are sure to be wet and slick.  Right now, everyone is stressing over whether or not to run mud tires.

Top of course still pretty slippery in places but bottom drying out quickly, rain expected to come in late afternoon, hopefully after racing and podium!
