Capilano University Mountain Bike Operations Program (MBO) students are hosting an event Saturday, April 28th, at the Sprockids Bike Park in Gibsons, BC, to celebrate 20 successful years of the Sprockids Bike Program. Come out, bring the family and enjoy exciting activities during a day of fun with the riding community.

When: Events kick off at 9:30 am, closing ceremony and prizes at 2:00 pm

Sprockids Fun Day will showcase a multitude of activities and events, starting with a VIP walk for land managers and media to look at the work done by the MBO students and view the new park signage at 9:30 am.
Starting at 10:00 am, activities will include skills park sessions, family rides and a free lunch, as well as a jump demo with appearances from pro riders such as Ben Glassen and Geoff Gulevich. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own bike or gear, you can still come out, as there will be demo bikes and gear on site so everyone can enjoy the fun! The day will finish around 2:00 pm with a ceremony including draw prizes.
Sprockids Fun Day will be a memorable event filled with fun while learning new skills and connecting with other fellow outdoor enthusiasts and mountain bike lovers within the community. We will be honouring the work of Doug Detwiller, the Sprockids volunteers and the Sunshine Coast Regional District for their involvement with land management and support over the years.
Organized by the Capilano University Mountain Bike Operations students in collaboration with the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
