Only Three Days Left to Register for Maple Ridge Cycling Race

The 10th Annual Race the Ridge cycling stage race, presented by Local Ride Bike Shop on April 28-29, is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Power2max power meter systems.

“I’m very excited to have Power2max on board for Race the Ridge,” said race organizer Barry Lyster. “The support from Power2max will be put directly towards the racers in the form of cash primes and stage winnings.”

Power2max will also be on site with more information about the product and a demo bike. As an extra bonus, every Race the Ridge participant will receive a 10% discount off the purchase of a Power2max system.

The final registration deadline of 6:00 pm, Saturday, April 21st, for Race the Ridge is quickly approaching. Lyster urges riders to register soon, as fields are capped and there will be no day-of registration available. Register online at www.karelo.com.

“Our goal is to make Race the Ridge a high quality event for all the participants. We have three excellent race courses and are looking forward to what will be the best Race the Ridge in its 10-year history,” said Lyster.

Race the Ridge is a cycling stage race in Maple Ridge, BC, organized by Local Ride Bike Shop owner Barry Lyster. The event is celebrating its 10th edition this year and will see three road cycling stages over the course of two days, April 28-29. Saturday begins with a road race in the Thornhill area, followed by an individual time trial in Golden Ears Provincial Park. The grand finale will take place on Sunday with the Town Core Criterium in downtown Maple Ridge, followed by awards for the overall winners.
