On Sunday May 6th, during the third round of the Challenge d'Ile de France Route Féminin, Véronique Labonté, (QC) riding for CSM Epinay sur Seine took her first win. Veronique took the victory after making a strong attack with 7 laps to go. Sandrine Bideau (Vienne Futuroscope), successfully bridged to join the Canadian for the remaining laps. In the final sprint, Véronique Labonté edged Sandrine Bideau.
The podium was completed by Roxane Fournier, (CM Aubervilliers 93,) who won the field sprint against three companions: Marie-Laure Cloarec-Mathis (CSM Puteaux), Alna Burato (CDC Marne de la FFC) and Kelly Gambier (MSC Villeneuve la Garenne) who recently won Mérignacaise.
