The UCI has announced final nation rankings for BMX after the World Championships in Birmingham, UK, last weekend. Canada received one spot in the men, by vurtue of holding onto 11th place in the nation rankings, despite Tory Nyhaug being unable to compete due to injury. Canada will receive no spots for the women's competition.
Below is a table showing the final rankings and number of Olympic spots for each nation, plus the additional spots awarded for worlds results and other special qualifying provisions. Note that these are unofficial - the UCI and IOC will release official quotas next month.
