The Albert Coulier Memorial 6 Day bike race is scheduled to start on Thursday evening, October 4th. With 22 riders registered for the event, the track racing action will be fast and furious, at the 138m Velodrome in London, Ontario.

The Coulier Memorial 6 Day runs over two weekends, Thursday - Saturday (October 4th - 6th) and Thursday - Saturday (October 11th - 13th). Racing will begin at 7 pm sharp.

One of the riders who will be a headliner for the event is Kitchener's Ryan Aitcheson (Panther Racing). Aitcheson is coming off a very strong road seasons with 17 podiums. The young 21 year old will be returning to the high banks at the FCV for the first time in over a year. Aitcheson, has spent most of the last 24 months racing for Panther Racing in the United States and, most recently, rode with the Canadian team in Europe. Aitcheson will be partnered with 15 year old Cameron Mason from London; Mason will be making his debut in 6 Day racing. Mason said "this is a big opportunity to race with Ryan, he is one of the fastest track riders in Canada, I will have to be on my best to make sure I don't lose a wheel during the early portion of the Jam". (Note: a Jam is an all out effort by numerous teams to try to gain laps and put other teams on the rivet)

The racing will look like this: The A division will compete in an opening 30 minute Madison with points sprints just after 15 minutes. The riders will then prepare for a Miss & Out, and a Scratch race, before the final 45 minute Madison to end the night.

Riders are entered from Waterloo, New Jersey, St Thomas, London, Brantford, Detroit and Toronto.

General admission is $10.00 at the door, Seniors are $5.00, Kids are always "FREE".
