The Trek Red Truck Team management is pleased to announce that it has raised $13,950 for the 2012 Trek Red Truck Racing Team Scholarship thanks to generous contributions by the team’s sponsors, including Divyesh Gadhia, PH&N Investment Services, Craig Langdon/Deans Knight Capital Management Ltd., Speed Theory, and Allstream.
The Scholarship fund was launched last year, in conjunction with the team's emphasis on encouraging its riders pursue their post-secondary education, while also competing at an elite level in cycling. Funds from the scholarship were distributed to the team’s riders based on factors such as commitment to racing, grade point average, and team involvement.
Riders receiving funding this year were:

Brad Clifford (Kinesiology, University of Manitoba)
Jenny Lehmann (Kinesiology, Simon Fraser University)
Shoshauna Laxson (Kinesiology and French, University of Fraser Valley)
Craig Logan (Economics and Business, University of Victoria)
Dustin Andrews (Engineering, University of Calgary)

Donations of any denomination are greatly appreciated, and donors will receive a tax receipt for contributions to the Scholarship fund. Please note that parents/ guardians of eligible athletes are not permitted to make donations.
