Dirt Camp organizers are excited to bring you the best season of Trek Dirt Series camps to date. The Series will be starting in Santa Cruz, California, finishing in Fruita, Colorado, and traveling to fantastic locations in Utah, Oregon, Washington, Alberta, and BC in between.
There are a lot of familiar stops on the 2013 schedule, and a few new things in there as well.
After fielding requests for several years, organizers will be running a camp in the Silver Star Bike Park, in BC's Okanagan Valley, this year. They've been building cross-country trails up there recently too, so that'll be a weekend for DH and XC riders alike.
The Series is also reintroducing a co-ed camps in the US. It is the second camp of the season, so part of the initial California trip. Did you know that the male / female split at co-ed camps is nearly 50 / 50?
Dirt Camp registration so far has been through the roof. For February this year numbers were 60% higher than last. Almost 400 people have already signed up for camps in 2013, so that's a lot of people keen on mountain biking and looking forward to improving their skills this year.
A couple of camps have already sold out, and a handful of others have less than ten spots still open. If there's a particular location or date you'd like to attend, planning earlier rather than later would be great. The full calendar is our on the website, with easy online registration.
