Tomorrow (March 9th) Hardwood Ski and Bike are hosting Hardwood Fatty Frost Cross, the first Fat Bike Race in the area, where riders will see how many laps they can complete in two hours.
The course will be approximately three kilometres and include flats, berms, table tops, climbs and more. This will be a spectator-friendly course with lots of action for everyone.
Fat bikes have over-sized tires, typically 3.7" or larger, designed for riding on soft unstable terrain such as snow and sand. Bikes are built around frames with large forks to accommodate the wide rims required to fit these tires.
