On Saturday, Sept. 21st, the Kawartha Cycling Club is hosting the 10th Annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour, a charity fundraiser for "A Place Called Home", a homeless shelter in Lindsay, Ontario.
Starting and finishing at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre, it features 4 routes to appeal to a wide range of cyclists, from comparative novice to very experienced: 25 km., 50 km., 100 km., and 160 km.
Registration is $40 before Sept. 18 for adults (same-day on-site registration is $45) or $35 for youths 16 and under ($40 on-site). The fee includes snacks and beverages along the route, roving mechanical support, and lunch following the ride when prizes will also be awarded.
