Pietermaritzburg South Africa will host the Mountain Bike World Championships starting next Wednesday, but is also host to the Masters Mountain Bike World Championships that began today. While very few Canucks have made the long, long journey, a couple have and today Whistler's Cathryn Zeglinski's trip has proven worthwhile as she took the gold in the women's 45-49 category, beating 2nd place Maria de Bernardi (Argentina) by over one and a half minutes.
