Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is excited to announce a new route, which features more of what the Tour de Victoria is famous for: world class cycling! We have added distance to our longer routes and new roads that will have both beginners and experts in awe. Riders can expect more scenic back roads and challenging climbs with this new course. Our new distances are: Harbour Air 150km, 105km and 45km.

Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is quickly becoming a must do event for cyclists from all over North America, as it offers world class cycling, amazing volunteers, and superb organization. The Tour de Victoria is produced by Ryders Cycling Society of Canada, a not for profit that provides cycling opportunities for Canadians. This year’s charity program will be raising funds for great causes, including Opportunity International and several worthy Canadian cycling groups and initiatives.

Ryder Hesjedal says: "The Tour de Victoria is always a highlight of my cycling season. The new route is challenging, scenic, and exciting - you are all going to love it! Thanks to everyone who has supported the event over the past three years in one way or another! I hope to see you on August 24th."

Tour director, Seamus McGrath says: "I'm really excited to ride the new route with everyone this year, as it showcases more of why Victoria is the Cycling Capital of Canada. It's an honor to be part of this event which allows so many people to experience the beauty of cycling."
