Gold Sprint

Cycling BC and Fortius Sport & Health have come together to put on an EPIC Gold Sprint event for four weeks during April.

Whether you ride a BMX, Mountain Bike, Road Bike or even a Segway you are invited. For only $5 you can challenge your peers to an evening of lung busting fun in "The Cauldron @ Fortius" - powered by Fortius PowerWatts Cycling.

There are only 8 bikes per heat available, so head over to the Fortius Sport & Health website.


MEC Rider Expo Night

Don't forget to support Cycling BC by attending MEC's Rider Expo night. Two-time Olympian Lesley Tomlinson will be there to talk training, bikes will be 10% off, cycling gear will be 15% off, and there's a full schedule of demos, performance clinics and draws planned.

As opposed to traditional roller racing, where riders have to balance, Goldsprints use fixed gear bikes mounted by their forkstands so that the riders don't have to balance, only pedal as fast as they can. We will be hosting races in the store and giving away prizes to the fastest sprinters!

Refreshments

Central City Brewing Co. will be providing delicious beers and answering any and all brewery questions

Milano Coffee will be hosting an Espresso Bar with a Milano Barista making your favourite beverage
