Six weeks to go until the Youth Cup Series in Ontario comes to London. The Tourism London Youth Grand Prix & Delaware Speedway Youth Race will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th.
Registration will be available at the Ontario Cycling events page later this week.
Each day will feature a Time Trial and a timed Road Race on closed courses.... This means no cars. The young athletes will compete in 8 different Divisions for Boys and Girls (9 years old - 16 years old).
The Delaware Speedway Youth Race will utilize the Pit road normally used by the stock cars that race weekly at the speedway. The TT will be 3 laps of the very technical infield, while the road race portion of the event will take place on the 650m oval. Racing begins at 9am and will finish at 2pm.
The Tourism London Youth Grand Prix is the next day (Sunday, June 15th). This is the same course as 2013, however, new for 2014 will be an extended time trial. The timed road races again will be a challenge the fitness of all competitors.
You will be able to enter one event at $35.00 or enter both days of racing for $50. The best value in Cycling.
Please note: Do to sanctioning issues, the Junior Stage race is cancelled.
