They will ride out of Lac Megantic, for 20 km at which time they will enter a 15 km circuit, for 5 laps. Partway through the circuit is Mont Morn, with a 11.6% grade.
Two factors will be important. The heat, and wind. The heavy rains earlier in the week seem to have left the area, but now the sun is out and it is burning heat of 27C. Wind is 10 kmph from the north, so a bit of a headwind on teh way out, tail on the way back, which will be an advantage for those tired legs..
Tomorrow the weather is expected to turn even hotter and the humidity to increase.
57 56 riders on the start list, with Lex Albrecht (TWENTY16 Pro Cycling) being a DNS
