The first VI Endurance cross country mountain bike race of the season is here on February 12th - the Copley Ridge Mountain Bike Race is in the Lantzville Woodlot near Nanaimo.
This loop course is 6.5km, with over 300m of elevation gain. There are categories for beginner, intermediate, and advanced (1, 2 or 3 laps respectively). The advance race starts at 10:00, intermediate at 10:10 and beginner at 10:20.
There will be a short pre-race briefing 5 minutes before the advanced start time. This is to give you an update on course conditions, and a quick rundown of the race rules.
This race will take place in the Lantzville woodlot. The start/finish will be just off the corner of Sywash Ridge Rd and Normarel Dr.

Registration is limited to 40 bikers, so be sure to secure your place. Registration is $20.00, making this one of the best race deals in town. You are encouraged to register online but there will be in-person registration available on race day. Race registration will close 10 minutes prior to the race briefing.
