Liv Vancouver seeks bike loving Barista/Retail Team Member for weekend shifts.

At Liv Vancouver, we are passionate about all types of cycling and we're excited to share our extensive knowledge and love of bicycling with women in the community. We're proud to be Canada's first female focused cycling boutique dealing exclusively in Liv bicycles, along with Liv and complementary brand clothing and accessories. Liv is the first cycling brand completely dedicated to women.

Liv Vancouver is a small, independently owned store centrally located in Vancouver, B.C.'s hip West 4th shopping district. Owner Anne-Marie Gagnon loves riding bikes of all kinds and is thrilled to apply her vast experience in the industry to making cycling more accessible and enjoyable for women. She also loves coffee and has outfitted the store with a professional grade espresso machine to enhance customers' visits by serving quality espresso beverages.

Our team is dedicated to helping customers enjoy the best cycling experience by offering awesome service, quality parts and gear, and performance bikes for every rider. We are also dedicated to growing women's participation in the sport by offering a hub for women's cycling, group rides, educational clinics, and supporting events and riders.

As our weekend barista and member of our Retail/Customer Service Team, your primary responsibilities are to keep customers happy and caffeinated by pulling excellent espresso shots and providing great customer service, as well as ringing up purchases. At Liv Vancouver, our staff is a small family whose members are quick to jump in and help with various tasks.

You may not be an expert on bikes, but you do love cycling and are comfortable chatting about the sport conversationally while making latte art. You're friendly, energetic, enjoy talking to people, aim to please customers and make them feel at ease.

What you'll do:

• Make a variety of espresso, steamed milk and tea beverages on request
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to all customers
• Ring in purchases
